Here is a basics of the statemachine.

Stopped:
The STOPPED State indicates when the machine/module is in a non dangerous state. This is typically where afety doors are unlocked, and all movements are stopped. If the machine/module boots up from a powercycle it will automaically be in the stopped state.
From the STOPPED state it is possible to push the RESET button to go to RESETTING, or push the START Button to go to STARTING.

Resetting:
The RESETTING state is a state the operator/programmer can choose to use if nessecary. it can be a button on the HMI screen, or it can be used in the program whenever there has been an error. Resetting of alarms, sequences and drives/homing is usually done here.
From the RESETTING state, use the ResetSC bit to go to READY, or push the STOP button to go to Stopping, or Press Abort to go directly to STOPPED.

Ready:
The READY state is the state that tells the operator that the machine/module is ready to go. All alarms, drives or motors has been reset and everything is where it should be befor starting.
From the READY state, use the Start button to go to STARTING, or push the STOP button to go to Stopping, or Press Abort to go directly to STOPPED.

Starting:
In STARTING, various things can happend. The virtual master can start, some drives can go to an offset position, the machine/module can be waiting for another module to deliver products, or something completely differety.
From the STARTING state, use the StartSC bit to go to READY, or push the STOP button to go to Stopping, or Press Abort to go directly to STOPPED.

Started:
The STARTED State tells the operator that the machine/module is started and running without any faults.
From the STARTED state push the STOP button to go to Stopping, or Press Abort to go directly to STOPPED.
